6 PC Gaming Accessories That You Should Definitely Buy

Having the right equipment and paraphernalia really increases your gaming experience. Just imagine —you sink into your chair with your lights dimmed, creating the perfect ambiance, and ready to de-stress with your favorite game.

But just as you’re about to clutch the game, the default mouse that came with your pc choked. Your teammate’s voice sounds even more irritating coming from an ancient speaker. Since your back is now aching from hunching down on your PC after a long busy day at work, you defeatedly called it a day.

Investing in your PC set-up is probably one of the greatest joys for gamers. That includes getting top-notch gaming accessories that will make your experience comfortable, immersive, and fun. But with all the latest accessories released daily, which ones are worth the price?

We’ve looked for the best PC gaming accessories that will 100%  increase your gaming experience. From a gaming keyboard that can handle intense rounds to cool, immersive lighting that matches your game —this list has it all.

1. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless ($199 on Amazon)

Gaming Headset

You might raise your eyebrows at wireless accessories for gaming but trust us, latency delay is a thing of the past for this headset.

The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is probably one of the best wireless gaming headsets on the market right now. With impressive 300-hour battery life, this won’t die on you in the middle of the game. It’s also incredibly light and comfortable, with paddings for the top band and very soft ear cups.

Let’s talk about audio. The sound quality of this headset is just amazing. The HyperX Cloud Alpha shines the most with games that have directional sound. No detail goes amiss. Whether you’re using it while playing or just listening to music, you’re not going to regret purchasing this.

2. Corsair K100 RGB Optical ($192.95 on Amazon)

Gaming Keyboard

When it comes to the keyboard, there are a lot of options out there that can satisfy your specific needs. Mechanical keyboards are all the rage lately for their satisfying ASMR-worthy clicks.

But if you want something a bit more hardcore, the Corsair K100 RGB Optical keyboard will be right up your alley. The keyboard looks and feels premium thanks to its solid build. An iCUE wheel is located right at the top for you to adjust the RGB lighting at default or you can program it through their software to do anything that you want.

When it comes to switches, Corsair used their new OPX optical-mechanical switches that are much more responsive and sensitive compared to mechanical switches yet still has a satisfying typing experience.

It’s worth noting though that this is a full-sized keyboard and will take up a lot of space. So make sure that you have enough room on your desk before purchasing it.

3. AndaSeat Kaiser 3 XL

Ergonomic Gaming Chair

You deserve a comfortable chair whether you’re gaming or doing work from home. The AndaSeat Kaiser 3 XL is one of the underrated gaming chairs in the market but is definitely worth your money.

First off, this gaming chair is very spacious despite having a racing seat. It can hold up to 180kg of weight and has a six-year comprehensive warranty. You can choose between their premium leather or linen fabric depending on your workspace. We recommend the premium leather but the linen option is great if you’re staying in a non-airconditioned room.

There are a lot of cool features in the AndaSeat Kaiser 3. The 4D armrests and the memory foam neck pillow are both magnetic you can adjust. The chair’s lumbar support is fully adjustable and the whole thing can recline up to 165 degrees.

4. SteelSeries QcK Heavy XXL ($27 on Amazon)

Desk mat

Having a large desk mat as opposed to a square mouse pad, for us, is absolutely better. You don’t have to worry about the real estate on where your mouse can glide. It also protects your keyboard from any scratches. Plus, it just makes your set-up more cohesive.

The SteelSeries QcK Heavy XXL runs three feet long and about a foot wide. The mat itself has some weight and underside grip so it doesn’t move around on your table when you’re playing. The feel and glide of the cloth are very smooth and fraying won’t be an issue as the edges are stitched.

5. NZXT Capsule Mic ($129.99 on Amazon)

External Microphone

If you’re planning to stream that the built-in mic on your headphones won’t cut it, then the NZXT Capsule Mic is a great option for you.

It has an impressive audio quality and doesn’t pick up even the most obnoxious background noise. The Capsule Mic also works well even if your room is quite spacious or has a high ceiling, something that other mics struggle with. Of course, the design and build of the NZXT Capsule Mic are great and not at all intrusive on camera.

6. Philips Hue Play

Smart Lighting

You’d be surprised at how much ambiance lighting can improve your gaming experience.

The Philips Hue Play is one of the most-raved lighting products used in gaming set-ups. It’s a 10 x 1.7 x 1.4 inches light bar that you can set to any of the 16.8 million colors. The chassis around the light lets you connect up to three Philips Hue Plays at one power supply without any problem.

You can remotely control the settings on the lights through a dedicated Philips Hue app available for Android and iOS. Syncing is also done at ease so you can customize your gaming environment with one tap. They are also voice-activated. Philips Hue Play is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit.

Each Philips Hue Play kit contains a power supply, clips, double-sided tapes, and a mounting gear for easy installation. You can place the lights on or behind your monitor, walls, desk, shelves, and more to get your desired lighting ambiance.

Even better if you integrate your Philips Hue with Razer Chroma and have your lights respond to your in-game effects. That’s definitely the peak of immersive gaming.
