In terms of battery life, it has a 26-hour continuous Bluetooth playback from a single charge. It has 8800 mAh of battery, making it perfect for long drives or just having an all-day party in your own home. On top of this, it uses Bluetooth 5.2 which delivers better sound while saving more power.
If you have 2 units of the Huawei Sound Joy, just shake them both to connect the speakers into one for a louder sound. Don’t worry about water, it has an IP67 water-resistant rating, keeping it protected even when submerged up to 1 meter of water.
Just like the Apple ecosystem, Huawei devices can also use its Automatic Discovery function. Bringing any Huawei device that has the mentioned feature and it will automatically connect the device. There will be a pop-up window that will ask to allow access to the speaker. You may even answer a call or play sounds from a game, movie, or music.
In addition, you may also control the speaker through your Huawei smartwatch. There is also a voice assistant on the speaker, that can activate the one on your Huawei phone. It works something like Alexa or Siri, but with the brand’s own smart voice assistance feature.
The Huawei Sound Joy can be considered one of the best audio accessories offered by the company. It has a beautiful tall can design with a special woven fabric mesh, with a multicolor ring on one side. Aside from the flashing light that goes anything you play with the device, it can show the volume level as well as the battery life.
The same ring has the Devialet logo in the center, giving the speakers a premium feel to it. It is available in two shades: Obsidian Black and Spruce Green, though we recommend the latter with its unique color.
This product may not be available in retail stores in the US, since Huawei is banned from selling its products in the country. However, with easy access and availability from online marketplaces, one can secure a unit. As usual, one should be reminded of being careful when buying anything online.
