Earlier in March 2022, it was unveiled that for the very first time in 17 years and for the very first time in 2021, CD sales enjoyed significant growth. New rumors about iPhone 14 also claimed that the new chipset might not be used for some new models. It was also verified that the streaming apps of Discovery Plus and HBO Max will also combine into one though there is no definite date for it just yet.  


But beyond this latest tech news, what really caught the attention and interest of many people, tech and non-tech fans alike, are the up-and-coming gadgets expected to hit the store shelves soon.

2. Epson Home Cinema LS11000 4K PRO-UHD

The latest home theater project from Epson is basically a slightly dimmer and more affordable version of the Pro Cinema LS12000 the company released earlier priced at $5,000. The Home Cinema LS11000 is a type of long throw projector that supports 120Hz refresh rates and delivers a 4K picture. Priced at $3,999, the company also claims that it can produce a ginormous 300-inch picture.  


3. Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga and X13 (2022)

Lenovo unveiled its revamped line of 2-in-1 convertibles and laptops, the ThinkPad X13 Yoga and the ThinkPad X13 respectively which will have a market release in June. These two laptops will both have a similar design in general but these will be equipped with better connectivity, graphics cards, as well as an Intel processor.

A small soundbar that only measures 14.5 inches in length, the MagniFi Mini AX supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos. This got all the things you can ever ask for in a modern soundbar such as the support for WiFi and Bluetooth streaming and an eARC connection. For $500, the soundbar also comes with a wireless subwoofer and is a wonderful home theater upgrade for those with smaller TVs. 


5. Samsung S95B 4K QD-OLED TV

This year’s CES saw Samsung announcing its first-ever OLED TVs that were also equipped with the Quantum Dot technology. The 4K QD-OLED TVs are meant to give tough competition to the OLED LG TVs but claim to deliver a much brighter picture that boasts of richer colors.  


For this reason, expect that these latest TVs will also come with very steep price tags. Samsung S95B happens to be the very first of the special televisions to hit the market and will come in 65” and 55” models.
